Mascaro V.O. is a Spanish brandy produced by Destilería Antonio Mascaró, recognized for its focus on classic Mediterranean-style distillates. It presents itself as an elegant brandy, of traditional cut, where ripe fruit, polished wood, and an enveloping aromatic profile stand out, ideal for after-dinner or evening sipping.
Color
Intense amber tone with golden and coppery reflections, clean and bright, leaving a dense and slow tear in the glass, anticipating good structure.
Nose
Aromas of candied fruit and apricots, accompanied by notes of soft vanilla, light caramel, and hints of nuts. Hints of fine wood, sweet spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, along with a subtly balsamic background that adds complexity without being aggressive are appreciated.
Palate
Warm and enveloping entry, with silky texture and a wide mouthfeel where notes of ripe fruit, toasted caramel, and soft cocoa memories dominate. The wood integrates elegantly, providing fine spices and a persistent, slightly vanilla and dry finish that invites sipping neat or with very little ice.
