About Mini Brandy Carlos Iii
Mini Brandy Carlos III by Osborne is a classic Spanish brandy, produced by one of the most emblematic houses in the Jerez region. It presents itself as an accessible and balanced distillate, with a warm and friendly profile, ideal for enjoying neat or in simple cocktails. Its character combines notes of ripe fruit and soft wood, typical of the traditional brandies of the house.
Color
Intense amber tone with golden reflections, clean and bright, leaving a fine and slow tear in the glass, anticipating a certain sensation of sweetness and roundness.
Nose
Aromas of dried and candied fruit, with memories of raisins, apricots, and touches of ripe plum. Polished wood hints, subtle vanilla, and a light spiced background evoking nutmeg and a touch of toasted caramel are perceived.
Palate
Soft and sweet entry, with notes of dehydrated fruit, soft caramel, and a slight memory of nuts. The alcohol is well integrated, offering a warm but friendly sensation; the finish is medium, with echoes of sweet wood, light vanilla, and a spiced touch that invites another sip.
The Cellar
Osborne
The Osborne winery, founded in the 18th century in El Puerto de Santa María, is one of the historical references of the Marco de Jerez in southern Spain. It mainly works with Palomino Fino, Pedro Ximénez, and Moscatel, key varieties for the production of finos, olorosos, amontillados, and traditional sweet wines. The Atlantic climate, moderated by the westerly and easterly winds, and the albariza soils provide characteristic freshness and salinity to its wines.
Faithful to the criaderas and soleras system, Osborne combines long oxidative and biological aging under a veil of flor, preserving classic methods while incorporating precise enological control. This philosophy of balance between heritage and modern technique is also reflected in its Jerez brandies, where the selection of holandas and the use of seasoned casks define a complex style deeply tied to the identity of the Marco.
