About Frangelico
Frangelico is an Italian hazelnut liqueur of sweet and indulgent character, produced by DCM and highly appreciated for both cocktails and for sipping neat or with ice. It stands out for its marked profile of toasted nuts, hints of vanilla and cocoa, ideal for pairing with desserts or adding complexity to creamy mixes.
Color
Medium amber tone with golden reflections, clean and bright, reminiscent of light caramel. The tears are dense and slow, consistent with its liqueur character and sugar concentration.
Nose
Intense and very expressive, dominated by toasted hazelnuts and praline, with notes of cocoa, vanilla, and soft caramel. Hints of cake, brown sugar, a light touch of coffee, and a creamy background evoking cream and white chocolate, all wrapped in a sweet and comforting halo, appear.
Palate
Smooth and silky entry, clearly sweet but balanced by a light toasted and bitter touch from the hazelnut. Medium body, creamy and enveloping texture, with flavors of caramelized nuts, vanilla, cocoa, and an echo of coffee. Long, indulgent, and persistent finish, perfect for sipping neat, in coffee, over ice, or as a base in cocktails and desserts.
