The Ramon Canals winery is located in the Penedès, in Catalonia, one of the historical denominations of Spain for still and sparkling wines. Its vineyards are spread between calcareous and clay soils, influenced by the Mediterranean climate with slight thermal fluctuations that favor slow and balanced ripening. It primarily works with native varieties such as Xarel·lo, Macabeo, and Parellada, along with red grapes like Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon.

True to a philosophy of respect for origin, the winery combines carefully selected harvesting with gentle pressing and controlled fermentations in stainless steel, reserving barrel aging for certain wines and long-aged sparkling wines. In its cavas, the second fermentation in bottle and prolonged aging on lees provide aromatic complexity, fine bubbles, and balance between freshness and structure, distinctive traits of the Ramon Canals style.
